Practical Guide to TM Law, 5th edition now available
The fifth edition of A Practical Guide to Trade Mark Law, by Amanda Michaels and Andrew Norris, published by Oxford University Press, was unveiled last week at the INTA Meeting in Hong Kong. The authors are both barristers in Hogarth Chambers and Amanda is additionally an 'Appointed Person', who fulfils a judicial role in hearing appeals against decisions of the UK Trade Mark Registry,
This is a user-friendly paperback which, while its prime readership is UK-based, contains a considerable amount of law and discussion of European trade mark law, as is only proper. It is not a reference book, and does not seek to be, which makes it a good deal shorter and less expensive than standard reference works. Rather, it provides a readable and cogent account of what trade mark law is and how it works.
