European Trade Mark Reform: what do you think of the latest unofficial version of the adopted texts?
Yesterday the European Parliament (EP) Legal Affairs Committee (JURI) adopted the two reports by Ms Cecilia Wikström on the review of the Community Trade Mark Regulation (CTMR) and the Trade Mark Directive (TMD). She also received a negotiating mandate to start negotiations with the Council.
A press release from the EP outlining in more details the results of the vote is available here.
You will find the unofficial adopted texts regarding both the CTMR and the TMD here.
As you might expect, MARQUES is already working on an updated position in view of the new developments. MARQUES eagerly welcomes members’ comments on the adopted changes.
