EU, OHIM make room for Croatia
The OHIM Manual's section on EU Enlargement has been revised. The revised section deals with examination and opposition/ cancellation issues in its new, unified text. This section is also being relocated to Part A of the Manual.
The new text has been revised not only to accommodate the accession of Croatia to the European Union, which takes place on 1 July 2013, but also to make the relevant part of the Manual clearer and more user-friendly.
The changes in this section are essentially legal and editorial, but do not affect OHIM's current office practice, presumably because that is already user-friendly!
