In the moo: corpulent cattle PDO amended
Commission Implementing Regulation 1076/2012 of 14 November 2012 approving non-minor amendments to the specification for a name entered in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications [Carne Marinhoa (PDO)] has recently been published on the online version of the Official Journal of the European Union. Carne Marinhoa from Portugal describes a breed of cattle "characterised by its corpulence and long muzzle". Details of the amended specification for this protected designation of origin can be found here.
