Provolone Valpadana and Taureau de Camargue GIs amended
The European Commission has recently published in the online Official Journal of the European Union two more Regulations governing amendments made to existing GIs. As is customary, but extremely annoying and inconvenient, no hyperlinks are provided to either the original GI specification or the amendments, but at least in the second case the amendments have been reproduced as an appendix. The two are:

Commission Implementing Regulation 1054/2012 of 7 November 2012 approving minor amendments to the specification for a name entered in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications [Taureau de Camargue (PDO)]. The Taureau in question is illustrated on the right. His PDO is registered for meat and offal.
