UKIPO: TPN 2/2012: "Survey Evidence and Expert Witness Evidence"
The United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) last week issued a new Tribunal Practice Notice (TPN) relating to the submission of survey and expert witness evidence in UKIPO trade mark proceedings:
"This practice notice gives notice that survey evidence and expert witness evidence can only be adduced into trade mark proceedings before the Intellectual Property Office with the permission of the hearing officer. It sets out the criteria which will need to be satisfied for such evidence to be adduced and the nature of that evidence."
The new TPN 2/2012: "Survey Evidence and Expert Witness Evidence" will come into effect on 16 July 2012 and can be retrieved by clicking here
