Latest WTR: "Is there life after Nokia and Philips?"
Although it's only March, the April-May issue of IP Media Group's bimonthly World Trademark Review (WTR) has already been published. As usual, while its content is global there is plenty to interest the reader whose perspectives (or portfolios) have a European flavour to them. "Is there life after Nokia and Philips?" ask MARQUES Council Member Willem Leppink and his colleague Timme Geerlof, reviewing the consequences of the recent Court of Justice ruling on the status of counterfeit goods in transit. There's also a very handsome article by Stuart Whitwell (Intangible Business) on realising brand value in the event of an insolvency. Good work, Mr Whitwell but we all hope we won't be needing it!
