Practical Manual on GIs in ACP countries published
The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Development ACP-EU (“CTA”) and the Organization for an International Geographical Indications Network oriGIn have published a useful, practical tool to assist in understanding the legal options available to protect GIs in African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries.
The joint publication by CTA and OriGIn entitles “Practical Manual on Geographical Indications for ACP countries” and is intended to be understood by non-specialists.
It can be downloaded on the oriGIn website www.origin-gi.com.
