German Federal Patent Court: Annual Report 2009
The German Federal Patent Court (Bundespatentgericht) has published its annual report for 2009 - and may I add what a useful document this is. Since 2007 the Bundespatentgericht's annual reports include an English summary which in the 2009 report starts on page 64 of the PDF (numbered page 124). I particularly like the concise English language summaries and the impeccable footnotes and case references.
Highlights to watch out for are, inter alia, an update on the Marlene Dietrich portrait trade mark saga, an update on slogan marks and the court's decision on the trade mark “Bottle with blade of grass”.
The document can be downloaded as a PDF by clicking here.
