Dealing with unofficial sites and blogs: the Nestlé strategy
Caroline Perriard (Nestlé), speaking at today's cyber-session at the MARQUES winter meeting, added a brief but valuable point when she described the shift in approach which is now being adopted by brand owners. A few years ago brand owners generally wanted to get hostile or critical sites taken down. Now they tend to pay attention to them and respond to criticisms and comments rather than suppress them.
