Heineken muscles in on Belarussian beer market
Dutch-based beer giant Heineken has announced today the acquisition of the Cypriot holding company that owns Syabar, the beer brewed in Bobruysk, Belarus.
The Syabar Brewing Company has been operational in its current form since October 2005, following the reconstruction of a state owned brewery. In addition to its premium brand Syabar, it also brews Bobrov ale.
