Switzerland launches review of "Swissness"
Switzerland is conducting a legislative review as to how and when the term “Made in Switzerland” and the Swiss cross may be used in respect of products and services, as well as the legal provisions that are appropriate for dealing with people who misuse them. The Federal Council began the public consultation process for the legislation project “Swissness” on 28 November 2007; the process concludes on 31 March 2008. Further information and contact details may be found here.
