Cost-effective dinner in Toronto!
"Cost‐Effective Strategies for Protecting Trade Marks in Europe" is on the menu of a special event on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. The event is a dinner at the Rosewater Supper Club, 19 Toronto St. (cocktails from 5:45 pm, food at 6:15 pm). Co-hosts are the Toronto Intellectual Property Group (TIPG) and MARQUES.
This event, as its name suggests, will examine cost‐effective strategies for protecting
trade marks in Europe. The star attraction is Dr Martin Viefhues, managing director of JONAS Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in Cologne, Germany, is a
certified specialist in intellectual property law. Martin's work covers prosecution as well as
litigation, and IP law as well as advertising law. He also chairs the MARQUES Amicus Curiae Team.
If you'd like to attend, please reserve your place by Wednesday, May 4, 2011 by email to TIPG here. Although Canada is very big, space is limited -- so don't leave it too late!
Cheques should be made payable to the Toronto Intellectual Property Group and can be
brought to the meeting. Participants will be invoiced for cancellations within 72 hours of the meeting.
$ 70 for members $ 90 for non‐members.
