Poland: most valuable brands
The Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita published its annual ranking of the most valuable brands. During the awards ceremony Rafał Baniak from the Polish Ministry of Economy said that Poland has a deficit of brands that are recognized as valuable but thanks to such entrepreneurs, it is the only country that has reached a positive GDP growth in Europe in 2009. According to Rzeczpospolita’s ranking: 200 years, 90 years, and ten years – these are history and the market presence of the three most expensive Polish brands. Paradoxically, this is not the oldest but the youngest of them, celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, PKN Orlen, that for the fourth time opens a list of 330 most valuable Polish brands. The second place is for the 90-year-old brand of PKO BP (banking and finance), while the third place was taken by the 200-year old PZU (Polish Insurance Company). Posted by: Tomasz Rychlicki @ 16.10
