Burning brands in brain
The Polish website onet.pl published an article by Martyna Mroczek entitled "Burning marks in brain". In the annual ranking of Premium Brand thousands of Poles assessed different brands according to four criteria: readiness to recommend the brand to someone else (references), the quantity and quality of information in the media, the so-called "social involvement" of a brand and the perceptions of the brand as an employer and as a business partner. In this year's edition the first place was taken by TVN, followed by E. Wedel and Danone. Last year, two of the winners were the same - TVN and E. Wedel, while the third place was taken by Volkswagen brand. In this year nine Polish brands were among the top 25 brands, most of them in the top ten.

Unfortunately, Poland, has no brands or is not a brand itself. When Poles say "Germany" they think about "reliability", France is with a perfume, England - tradition and Spain is recently associated with the company Zara. And when we say "Poland" - we have no associations at all. And even though we are a big furnitures' manufacturer. Only few people know that the West gets a lot of furnitures produced in Poland, because they are sold under other brands. It is sad that during 20 years of the free market, we could not promote any brand. Maybe Wyborowa, but it also loses to the giants such as Smirnoff and Absolut.
told onet.pl Grzegorz Kiszluk - the editor of the BRIEF magazine.
