Mastering The Hague Agreement – from Asia to the USA, through the EU takes place in Paris on 14th June 2017


This is the second in a series of local events hosted by MARQUES in collaboration with WIPO giving design users the opportunity to learn more about the functioning of The Hague System and how to use it in practice. It will focus on providing guidance for European users designating Japan, Korea and the US.

The workshop is hosted by Cabinet Plasseraud and registration is just €100 for MARQUES members and €125 for non-members. It starts at 15.30 and concludes with a network reception at 18.00.

The speakers are Sarah Bailey (Simmons & Simmons), Gregoire Bisson (WIPO) and Frédéric Glaize (Cabinet Plasseraud).

Alessandro Sciarra, Chair of the Geographical Indications Team, gave a presentation at a side-event organised by the Organization for an International Geographical Indications Network (oriGIn) in the framework of the 37th Session of the WIPO Standing Committee on the Law of Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications (SCT), which took place in Geneva from March 27th to March 30th 2017
