In October MARQUES will host three seminars focusing on trade mark filing strategies for International Registrations under the Madrid System.

The half-day seminars will feature speakers from WIPO and the USPTO and will be an invaluable opportunity for trade mark users to find out about specific requirements in the US and other offices, and to raise any issues and concerns they have.

The seminars are being held in three cities:

  • Amsterdam, Monday 24th October
  • Munich, Wednesday 26th October
  • London, Friday 28th October

The seminars will cover both legal and procedural issues, as well as explaining the tools available, and are designed to help applicants overcome objections when filing International Registrations based on the home application or registration.

The seminars have been planned for the benefit of in-house counsel, trade mark lawyers and paralegals who work with the Madrid System on a daily basis.

Other planned events

Among the other MARQUES events coming up soon are:

Question the Trade Mark Judges – London, Monday 17th October, 17.30-19.30

Arbitrating and Mediating Trademarks – Munich, Tuesday 8th November

Spring Team Meeting – Geneva, 2nd and 3rd March 2017

Luxury Brand Seminar – Hong Kong, 16th and 17th March 2017 (JUST ANNOUNCED!)
