The 17-page paper, published in August, it titled “Guidance on Preparing and Providing Reproductions in Order to Forestall Possible Refusals on the Ground of Insufficient Disclosure of an Industrial Design by Examining Offices” and is available on WIPO’s website here (Information Notice No 9/2016). It provides guidance on the following topics: - Not enough views
- Unclear representations of the claimed design
- Unclear relief or contours of surfaces of a three-dimensional product
- Difference in form/colour between the representations of the claimed design.
