RIP Dr Björn Bahlmann
MARQUES was very sorry to hear of the sudden and unexpected death of Björn Bahlmann on 4 November
Björn was an attorney-at-law at Boehmert & Bohmert in Munich. He joined the firm in 2009 and became a specialist in IP law in 2011. His colleague Silke Freund wrote: "Björn was not only a colleague and partner, but also a friend to many of us. He was, as you know, an outstanding jurist and lawyer. But for us he was above all a humorous, accessible, loyal, helpful, interested and intelligent listener and friend. It pains us deeply that he is no longer with us, and he will be terribly missed by us all." Björn was a member of the MARQUES Dispute Resolution Team and was actively involved in the project on damages in trade mark infringement matters, which the Team recently published. He also attended the MARQUES Annual Conference in Madrid in September. Photo taken from the Boehmert & Boehmert website
