MARQUES Month details confirmed

MARQUES will host a series of online educational and networking events during September 2020, which will be available to members and non-members


MARQUES Month will kick off on 1 September at 09.00 CEST with an opening session presented by Mr Marcus Ahlgren, Head of the Legal and International Affairs Department at the Swedish PTO, and MARQUES Chair Susie Harris of Plum Guide.

During the rest of the month, there will be 12 further online sessions including panel discussions and workshops, the Annual General Meeting, Corporate Breakfast, Lewis Gaze Memorial Scholarship and Network Reception.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Blockchain and brands
  • Technology in tracking counterfeiters
  • Music and new technology
  • Technical functionality
  • Sustainability
  • Brands and online games

There will also be updates from representatives of EUIPO and WIPO. Summary details of all the events, including timings, are available on the MARQUES website.

Registration will open on 6 July and the website will be updated with the latest information then.
