Benedetta Cordovado studied law at the University of Bologna, Italy, graduating in 2003. She has been admitted to the bar and she practiced as an attorney-at-law in private practice, primarily in the areas of civil and commercial law.

A few years later, she moved in-house to De’ Longhi Group, giving her assistance with respect to international and domestic commercial agreements and dealing with Intellectual Property, Competition Laws, counterfeiting, and product liability matters.

In 2009 she moved to The Netherlands to focus more on Intellectual Property issues.

She currently works at Abbott Laboratories EPD Division headquarters in Switzerland. Her responsibilities entail the management of worldwide trademark portfolios and of trademark litigation and enforcement, IP related agreements, legal advice and assistance to the Marketing and Commercial Departments in large and articulated business projects.
