ARBITRARE with new administration
ARBITRARE - Arbitration Centre for Industrial Property, Domain names, Trade names and Corporate names - has a new administration. Joana Borralho de Gouveia has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of the arbitration centre; at the same time, António Miguel Ferreira (for APREGI, an association that represents Domain Name and Internet Host providers) and Jorge Rebocho Pais (on behalf of AIP-CCI, a Business Confederation) have been appointed as members of the Board of the arbitration centre.
Furthermore, the arbitration centre headquarters have been moved to Av. Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco, Amoreiras Tower 2, Lisbon.
We hope that this new administration is able to boost the arbitration centre performance. The institutionalized arbitration centre is legally able to resolve disputes over:
- Industrial property (trademarks and patents).
- .PT Domain Names.
- Trade names and corporate names.
