Use of Class Headings

This survey deals with the use of class headings in the list of goods and services for Community Trade Mark applications and registrations.

In particular, the consistency of the Presidential Communication 4/03 of OHIM, published on 16 June 2003, with national practice was evaluated, i.e. whether OHIM's view taken in the Communication is consistent with the various national laws or case law, and whether any national Office has taken an official position to OHIM's Presidential Communication 4/03.
