The news was shared in a statement from WIPO on 30 November 2017. The Geneva Act will enter into force, in respect of the Russian Federation, on 28 February 2018. There are now 53 contracting parties to the Geneva Act, including ARIPO and EUIPO. Canada and the United Kingdom are also making preparations to ratify the Hague Agreement, and may do so in the coming year.
