Air France's new logo
Air France’s new logo lacks distinctiveness according to the General Court –see Case T-159/10. The relevant public will not differentiate the slight visual differences from a typical parallelogram nor will it perceive it as evolution from its institutional logo , nor as a reminder of the main letters of the French airlines A or R contained in other trademarks of the company, such as AF or AIR FRANCE. The applicant was not able to prove acquired distinctiveness as the evidence submitted was dated from after the day of application.
