More protected names for EU foodstuffs
* Commission Regulation 916/2010 of 12 October 2010 approved non-minor amendments to the specification for a name entered in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications (Fourme d’Ambert/fourme de Montbrison (PDO)). The protected product names cover similar French cows' milk blue cheese which are injected with penicillium roqueforti.  Changes to the Fourme de Montbrison's specification appear to have been approved on the same day as that cheese achieved PDO status under Commission Regulation 917/2010 of 12 October 2010.

* Commission Regulation 918/2010 of 12 October 2010 recorded the entering of the name Kietbasa lieiscka in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications.  This is a Polish sausage, illustrated here.
