On its website (Notice No 1/09) the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) has announced that from 30 April 2009 (publication day of 30 April 2009) onwards it will publish its Official Journal "Markenblatt" solely via its new internet platform DPMAregister.
The new platform will be available via the new URL:
http://register.dpma.de/, which will also replace the current search platform for German trade mark registrations, DPInfo.
DPMAregister will also allow searches for geographical indications and will eventually (by 2009/2010) include Community Trade Marks and International Trade Marks designating Germany. The new search platform will have a basic and advanced users search function.
