Brands in Portugal: where 'old' is new
Writing for BrandChannel.com, food and travel writer Joe Ray examines the appeal of classic Portuguese brands that not only attract consumer loyalty but in some way actually define what it means to be Portuguese. His article, "Portuguese Brands: Why the Past is the Future", he suggests that, following years of modernisation and exposure to globalisation, Portuguese consumers are re-evaluating their feelings towards brands and are returning to those that have true value for them.
