More non-minor GI amendments published
Three more Regulations concerning non-minor amendments to geographical indications have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union. They are
* Commission Regulation 942/2008 of 25 September 2008 approving non-minor amendments to the specification for a name entered in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications (Époisses (PDO));
* Commission Regulation 943/2008 of 25 September 2008 entering certain names in the Register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications (Presunto de Campo Maior e Elvas or Paleta de Campo Maior e Elvas (PGI), Presunto de Santana da Serra or Paleta de Santana da Serra (PGI), Slovenský oštiepok (PGI));
* Commission Regulation 944/2008 of 25 September 2008 entering certain names in the Register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications (Salame S. Angelo (PGI), Chouriço Azedo de Vinhais or Azedo de Vinhais or Chouriço de Pão de Vinhais (PGI), Presunto do Alentejo or Paleta do Alentejo (PDO)). As on previous occasions, there is no hyperlink to the Regulation that contains either the details of the original Regulation or to the contents of the application to amend it.
